Lodhi Gardens is a city park situated in New Delhi, India. Spread over 90 acres, it contains, Mohammed Shah's Tomb, Tomb of Sikandar Lodhi, Sheesh Gumbad and Bara Gumbad, architectural works of the 15th century by Lodhi, an Afghan dynasty. The gardens are situated between Khan Market and Safdarjung's Tomb on Lodhi Road and is protected by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).

Historical Significance

Originally called Lady Willingdon Park during British rule, the gardens were redesigned in 1968 by J.A. Stein and renamed Lodhi Gardens. The park contains architectural works of the 15th century Sayyid and Lodhi dynasties, including tombs and bridges.
